Equity on two wheels
We’re working to expand access to bikeshare. It’s part of our ongoing effort to help create safer and healthier communities, pursue equality, and celebrate the diversity that makes our city so incredible.
Reducing fares with Divvy for Everyone
Divvy is proud to partner with The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the City of Evanston to offer $5 annual memberships for qualifying residents.
Same benefits. Lower price.
Divvy for Everyone members get unlimited 45-minute rides on classic bikes, reduced ebike and scooter rates—and a whole lot more. The easiest way to get going is to use the app, but we can also provide bike keys to members who may not have smartphones. And, for those who don’t have a debit card, credit card, or prepaid card required for a standard Divvy membership, the program incorporates a cash payment system.
Who’s eligible
Chicago and Evanston residents receiving SNAP, WIC, LIHEAP, FAFSA or public housing assistance are eligible for $5 annual memberships. No annual commitment required.
